Remember the good ol’ days when we used to print out pictures to change in frames around the house? Or nail photos to our bulletin boards? Ever since social media became super popular, I feel like I don’t get around to printing out pictures near as often as I should. But there’s honestly nothing like seeing pictures around your house to remind you of all the good memories you’ve had. That’s why I love photo books! With Mixbook, you are able to capture a ton of memories and compile them into a beautiful book you can display in your house. Just like the baby photo album I made for Brynnleigh.
Brynnleigh’s Baby Photo Album
Before we even took Brynnleigh’s newborn pictures, I knew I wanted to make them into a photo book. I wanted to design something we could display on our coffee table so that when friends and family came over, they could look through it and see all of those special moments the first two weeks of her life.
I came across a custom photo product company called “Mixbook” on Instagram and was immediately intrigued because of how cute and customizable their photo books were. They even had a Martha Stewart baby template for newborns that made it so easy to pop my pictures in, edit the text and have a beautifully crafted baby album. I was pleasantly surprised with how easy the book was to create. I just uploaded my pictures (which you can do directly from your phone), chose a theme & was able to customize each page how I wanted to reflect my style. I loved this because it allowed me some creative freedom while still keeping me on track so that everything flowed cohesively.
Once I received the book, I was truly blown away by the quality! It is absolutely beautiful, and looks so nice sitting on my coffee table. I definitely plan on creating more photo book’s over the years so I can capture some of Brynnleigh’s biggest milestones. I also think these would make a very special gift for parents or grandparents!
Mixbook was so kind to give you guys 50% off your first album with code MSJC50 (expires 8/30/2020).
