By now, most of y’all have probably seen my baby shower celebrating our baby girl, Brynnleigh! If not, you can see it here → my baby shower ! One of my absolute favorite parts of this shower was the amount of pink balloon garlands created by Lushra! My sweet family knew how much I loved all of the balloons at my shower, so they surprised me with a balloon garland by our front door when I got home from delivering at the hospital. They used a DIY kit from Lushra and said it was SO easy to use. Today I’m going to share some of the pictures and steps they took while creating this DIY balloon garland, and show you how to “get the look”! We hope this post inspires you to create a fun balloon garland for a celebration of your own!

Your DIY kit will include:
- an assortment of balloons ranging from 9″-24″ to make a 10 foot balloon garland
- balloons ranging in three different sizes to create the dimension you see from Lushra’s professional party squad installation team
- finishing line to string balloons
- premium latex balloons manufactured in the USA, 100% biodegradable
- the balloon buddy balloon inflater
- outdoor command hooks
Your DIY kit will also come with these instructions. They used both the instructions, and also watched this video, to help create the garland.
First, they sorted all of the balloons by size.
Next, they sorted the balloons into pairs that were different colors and different sizes.
Then, they used the balloon buddy to blow up two balloons and then tied the bottoms of each balloon together into a knot.
Finally, they used fishing wire around each pair of balloons to tie them all together. They alternated the sizes of the balloons and spread out the largest and smallest balloon pairs. Lushra’s video, seen here, does a great job of explaining this!
After assembling the garland, the last step was to attach it to the wall. Using the outdoor command hooks, as well as some rubber bands used to wrap around the fishing wire and connect them to the command hooks, it was ready for our arrival!
We were so surprised and felt so welcomed when we came home and saw this on our front door. I absolutely LOVE balloon garlands, especially these kits from Lushra, and will be using one of their kits again in the near future!
A huge thank you to our sweet family for surprising us with this, and shout out to Lushra for creating these easy DIY kits!
