Joanne is my favorite Nip Tuck Swim style with the flattering twist front detail and the thicker padding and molded cups help give shape to smaller busts. Note that their online descriptions mention that their swimsuits best fit C, D and DD cups but I had no issues with any of the styles that I was sent and I wear size a 32A or 34AA in this Wocoal petite bra.

I first came across Nip Tuck swimsuits at T.J. Maxx two years ago and I noticed that the swimsuit I shared in this blog post is still available here (and on sale for $25). Note that the Joanne style swimsuit I purchased a few years ago had hooks at the end of the straps in the back which you could unfasten. The latest version of all the styles they sent have straps secured with a closed O-ring (as shown below) so they no longer run the risk of coming unhooked.

The one piece swimsuits have varying levels of non-removable padding. Click here for a close up video comparison of the differences in padding across these styles. The floral print and the striped swimsuits are the Joanne style which offer the most support and the molded cups and thickly padded. The pink (Eva style) and blue (Louise style) swimsuits have moderate padding. The lemon print (Monica style) is lightly lined with very thin cups.

I like the coverage and simplicity of this textured blue swimsuit. The blue swimsuit (above) and the pink swimsuit (below) have bra pads sewn in at the bust and all of the Nip Tuck swimsuit styles provide really good coverage in the rear.

I hardly wear pink so I was surprised that I liked this bright pink swimsuit once I tried it on. The textured material and feminine ruffles add interest.

This is a really good striped swimsuit and it’s very similar to the other swimsuit I already have in this post. The molded cups have a lot of structure making them very supportive.

This citrus print swimsuit has the least amount of padding so if you don’t like padded/molded cups or too much padding then you may prefer this style.

This floral print swimsuit is my husband’s favorite style on me. The darker print is slimming and attractive especially if you see it in person.

If you’re in the market for a new swimsuit I recommend checking out Nip Tuck Swim’s modest swimsuits. I like their quality, the modest necklines, the front ruching and tummy control is effective at slimming my problem area (which I refer to as my “one pack” or “boba belly”) and the rear coverage isn’t too cheeky. I didn’t think that I would ever be brave enough to try-on and review any swimsuits but I was pleasantly surprised to find that I liked the different styles that they sent me.

On a related note, I gained 8 pounds staying at home during Covid and I’ve found that jumping without a rope is a very effective HIIT (high impact) workout. As explained in this Quora post it’s the speed you have while jumping that makes the difference and you should invest in a good pair of sneakers. I just need to be more consistent about it since exercising is not a habit of mine but I usually try to do at least 10 minutes a day. Ideally I’ll try to do the jumps for 15 minutes a day and I also rest a day if needed. Make sure to stretch properly before and after so that you don’t hurt yourself or pull something. If I haven’t done the jumps in quite a while I usually start with 5 minutes a day and build up the minutes from there.
